We’re excited that you’re interested in an internship at FNUSA-ICRC! To make the process as smooth and effective as possible for both sides, we’ve prepared a few tips to help you get started.
1. Choose the team you’d like to join
Before reaching out to us, take some time to consider which team you’d like to work with. You can choose from:
- Departments at FNUSA – Hospital Workplaces – FNUSA
- Research teams within ICRC – Research – ICRC – International Clinical Research Center
Each team profile includes their focus area, publications, and team members.
2. Prepare your CV and cover letter
- Tailor your CV and cover letter to the specific team.
- Address your cover letter directly to the team leader.
- Interested in multiple teams? No problem – feel free to send a separate cover letter for each.
3. Name your documents clearly
To help us stay organized, please name your files like this:
- Lastname_Firstname_CV_TeamName.pdf
- Lastname_Firstname_CoverLetter_TeamName.pdf
4. Don’t speak Czech? No worries – we’ll do our best to match you
If you don’t speak Czech, it’s still possible for us to find you a suitable internship – but please note that it may take a bit longer. Here’s why:
- In clinical settings (especially in the hospital), Czech is often essential due to direct communication with patients.
- In research teams and laboratories, the situation is usually more flexible and English may be sufficient.
We appreciate your patience and understanding – we’ll do our best to find the right placement for you.
5. Send everything to one email: akademie.icrc@fnusa.cz
We’re looking forward to hearing from you and potentially working together!
